Comment: I've googled for hours with no luck. The AC power adapter for my analog LCD monitor has gone bad. The adapter is a C&C Tech model CE92HM with the following specs: AC Adaptor [sic] C&C Tech Co. LTD Input: 100-240V~1A 50-60 Hz Output: 12V/2A 5V/2A 6-pin din Is there any way to find out if another adapter would be compatible? Must I have a dual output adapter with these exact specs? I don't know anything about this type of electronic component and I've had no formal training in computers - I'm learning bit by bit. :) If anyone can help me narrow down my search a litte, it would be appreciated! -Gigabyte K8N Ultra 9 939 w/nForce4 Ultra chipset -1gb DDR400 PC3200 RAM -Albatron GeForce 6600GT 128mb/128-bit g-card -MGE 500W PSU w/2 fans -Future Power "Power 5E" analog LCD monitor<br

Reply: (edit)Thoughts:- Here in London I would be able to have one made by my local electric/electronic (not pc) repair shop. Can you determine the maker/location from the paperwork and if so contact them. A local pc repair shop may have a psu that will do the job. Does the psu have an internal fuse? Good Luck -Keep us posted.

Reply: (edit)If you are in the US, take the monitor with you to Radio Shack, see if they have a compatible adapter for sale that you can buy or order. The other option is to try eBay (Germany). http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=174&item=5220638258&tc=photo List of lists

Reply: (edit)Thanks very much for the suggestions. It got me headed in the right direction, I hope. It turns out I have a friend who trained in electronics, and he has ordered the tiny parts to repair the adapter for me. Keep your fingers crossed for me. This huge CRT I'm using in the interim is giving me BIG headaches! -Gigabyte K8N Ultra 9 939 w/nForce4 Ultra chipset -1gb DDR400 PC3200 RAM -Albatron GeForce 6600GT 128mb/128-bit g-card -MGE 500W PSU w/2 fans -Future Power "Power 5E" analog LCD monitor
