Hey ya fellas i'm planning to buy Toshiba notebook. I've got two models on mind QOSMIO and SATELLITE. Chances are likely that i'd go for Qosmio but do you think its worth it since it doesnt have Windows Vista and neither Duo Core 2 processor. I've checked some benchmarks on the internet but didnt find that much difference in processors so what do you guys say. It's got nVidia chipset GPU and large hard drive. One other thing i've noticed on Qosmio link if you look in Max. external video modes you'll find that satellite has more colors than qosmio i wonder what it is. Please don't advise me about any other brand just click above on those two models and help me pick one.

I think the billion some colors is IMO a non issue. To help you decide which one we need to know what the primary purpose/ use of the Laptop will be. I have no person experience with them but I have heard Toshiba Laptops are above average in quality. Also above average in price. What are the price comparisions, or did I miss something. The Qosmio seems to be a nicer, better equipped computer.

Often overlooked in laptops is the battery life. I have a Toshiba Satelite and I'm lucky to get 1-1/2 hour on the battery on the leanest settings. If you plan on using it on the battery alone very often you might check this.
