Ill tell you something for free From my own educated opinion lap tops are a whole heap of bad investment for the first thing the sockets fail and break very easily and with little moveing around No one has seemed to design a better more reliable product and even Military spec are prone to the same failures. The problem is with a sharp shock the sockets soldering breaks and makes a good repair virtualy impossible!

I don't know about the sockets but Laptops are prone to the same pains with the Restore functions as thier desktop bretheren AND have many weeknesses. One I have seen personally and on this site is the screen connection thru the hinges. These newer screens that pivot are going to be even more problematic.

I can't recommend ANY laptop for general computing. If you MUST have portability then buy whatever meetes your current needs and buy on price. They All break sooner than desktops and cost much more to fix.

Just my two cents.
