The latest ViDock costs about $300 (depending on the model), then you'd have to buy a PCIe video card to put inside it. A decent gaming card will cost at least $100, so the total is about $400. And of course, your laptop ceases to be portable when using it because you will need a wall outlet to power the card, plus the card needs to be connected to an external monitor. And if you don't have a monitor, that adds another $150 +/- to the shopping list, bringing the total to $550 +/-. How well does that work with your limited budget?
