Here is a preview with complete testing done by Toms Hardware;

If you don't feel like reading the full 18 page test report then heres a summery. It sucks and isnt worth the money it costs.Up to now the lowest price I found for it is a deal for $510:

It is another dual chip card like ATI's newest card and is basicly two 8800GTS G92's on one board. The thing just barely tests above the 8800GTX/Ultra.

I'm definitely not a proponent of spending that kinda money on a video card. But the performance numbers speak for themselves...the 9800 GX2 is currently THE fastest video card available.

From the conclusion:

"The GeForce 9800 GX2 is the fastest graphics card at the moment and its performance easily and consistently surpasses that of the Radeon HD 3870 X2 (42% on average and between 33% to 57% depending on the resolution chosen)."

Other than the cost, how does that suck?

Well at the moment $510 seems a quite nice deal on it.

"i really WANT this card so much"

You realize it won't be "the fastest" graphics card forever right?

Then again, bleeding-edge enthusiasts usually have a legacy of mindless profligacy .... nuff said!
