my computer was on during a power outage and now It's not working properly. It takes more than 20minutes to only boot up and I can't do anything after booting up because it became too slow. When I click a mouse, it actually click something on computer after like 3seconds. Which hardware do I have to replace?

Might test memory to start. Download ultimate boot cd and burn it to a disk. Boot to that disk and run some of the diags. Start with memtest. Be sure to see that the correct amount is shown to start.

Then move on to hard drive diag's. If all shows OK and the live cd seems to be OK then it might be that some problem with xp happened. Might use sfc.exe /scannow to start then maybe restore point.

The click is usually a failing hard drive. Might think about using ntbackup with system state to some usb drive.
