May 31, 2013 at 14:54:21
Specs: Windows 7
A 2003 Newmar Mountain Aire back up camera with am,fm, stereo .
The camera will not emit and tilt since I touched it in motion. Must have dislodged a plastic gear.
Everything works; only the tilting problem.

If you held it while it was moving, you most likely striped a gear, gears don't just become dislodged.

You will either have to replace the damaged gears or send it in for factory repair.

Do you know where I can have it repaired? Thanks for your help.

I would look in the phone book or online for a Newmar dealer in your area and talk to them.

I have already done that. You have been my last resource. Seems like you can't help either. Thanks anyway. I'll keep looking.

Having worked in automotive parts for ten years, with this kind of situation you would be better off contacting the camera manufacturing company, the dealer is much less likely to offer anything aside from an assembly. Does it say the brand of camera on the camera or the assembly?

a second suggestion is to check with the aftermarket world
