Hi everyone,
What brand names and model of webcams are considered to be good in term of COLOR? I am looking a webcam that costs less than $50.00 US. I am using Logitech QuickCam Messenger, which is not a good webcam. It's color is not real. I have just bought a "Logitech QuickCam Zoom" webcam, which is about $34US, but it is even worse than the cheap QuickCam Messenger that I am using.
What's listed there is supposed to be the best there are.

If the color is faded out then the usual problem is the lighting level is too low. All cameras have this problem. The simplest solution is to put some light on the subject.

If you have a Camcorder, I've heard that they make great webcams.

thank you folks for the advice. Any specific model of webcam that you are using is considered to be good? Most Logitech webcams are only 16-bit color. Even its expensive model such as Logitech Quickcam 4000 Pro is also 16-bit color, which could not produce the true color.
