i just replaced my old mobo with this new ASRock mobo. i have everything on and in the right places. when i turn on the power on the psu my green light on the front of the tower comes on but extremely dim and goes out the moment i try to turn the computer on. Everything works if i put the old asus m4a785td-m evo mobo in, it powers up just fine. Any ideas as to what the problem is would be fantastic. pulling my hair out (what little i have left) over here.

For starters, you should always bench test before installing any hardware in a case. So keep the new board out of the case until you can get it to boot & get a display.

Also, it's very possible that Windows will have to be re-installed due to the board change.
