8GB Kingston DataTraveler 101 broken too?

Specs: Windows XP
why my 8GB Kingston Data Traveler can't play any copied video from other computer?
I bought it about 2 days ago, i copied some videos from my friend's laptop, when i open the device from my laptop, that video can't play from gomplayer, vlcplayer, media player classic and others :( is the flashdisk broken? what should i do?

Could be user restrictions on the video file that don't allow copying. Can you write and read other file types to that drive? If so, the issue is either as I mentioned, or you don't have the correct decoders installed.

Did you check to see if the videos played from the flash drive on the computer you copied them from? That would confirm that the files were saved correctly and that the problem is with your computer.
