Hey guys, im going out and picking up and EVGA 780i Mobo, but i have a question, ive read a few reviews saying that theres are 2 PCI-E 2.0 slots and 1 Normal PCI-E Slot, and i plan on just using my 8600gt until i get a new video card, so my question is, can i use my 8600gt with this mobo? And will a non pci-e 2.0 video card work in a pci-e 2.0 slot?

ps. if any of you have a EVGA 780i mobo, can you tell me what its like?

Thanks! tyme1012.

Your current video card should work in a pci-e 2.0 slot.

What board do you have now? $250+ is pretty pricey for a new board....
