Hi. I just placed an order for a Hp Pavilion P6347c on Amazon

I do believe it has an Pci express slot not sure if's the 1.0 or 2.0

but any who I want to get a mainrange card for it to play World of Tanks or Rift

but I've heard a few reviews on Newegg about 2.1 version cards not working for the 1.0 gen PCI-e

so should I have any problem?

if I can

I'll get this 5670

if not a 4650

which I believe is crap compared to the 5670

also you think I would be able to run either one of those^ on the PSU?

I'm guessing it's a standard 300w 19-20 amp.

ran a 9400gt on my last HP and it worked fine, think it's around the same wattage.

How much did u pay?

Here is the motherboard

Yes HD 5670 is better than HD 4650 and it will work with your system.
300w psu isn't a problem when u have components that use low power

For $526 u can build this system which will outpeform hp system

I paid $350 +$30 for expedited shipping

well I had to get a pc off amazon since it was with a giftcard.

seemed like a good deal.

if the 5670 can't be booted with the hp PSU I'll just buy a new PSU.

just was wondering.

also thanks for the link to the build a $500 pc

would of did that, but never build my own PC, except for adding in some RAM and a graphics card.

I'm not a hard core gamer, think the 5670 should fit my needs, and the PC seems like it could handle a little multitasking for it's price.
