Hello, i have such a problem.
There is a computer with 512 mb ram, which was working good (asus p4pe p4 2.4Ghz win ME).
I decided to upgrade that computer and bought
2 rams (512 MB kingston 333mhz), (earlier was 333 Mhz too).
and now when I turn on the coputer with new rams, windows ME is turning on, but from time to time it sais that ther is not enough memory. (the message box title is "SM BIOS").

Then, after that i turned on the computer with only one new ram, and it begin to work good.

SO. the computer doesn't work good with
2 rams installed..

What can I do?

Thank you very much,
Artashes

Have you tried each stick by itself? If you haven't then try it. Then you will know if the other is bad. If they both work by themselfs, try them in different slots.

Do you really have a need for so much memory? WinME has problems with more than 512MB of RAM unless you alter the system.ini file

I have tried each stick separately, and one works fine, but with second i found one problem: the mouse was hanging up.
is there eny relation between RAM and USB mouse?

More than 512mb ram with ME as an operating system is a waste. Take out the extra or upgrade to an operating system such as XP that can make use of it.
