Comment: I am using Creative's SBlaster Live! along with Desktop Theater 5.1 DTT 2500 Digital as 5+1 speaker system. This was one of the first 5.1 speaker system in the relevant market and came with an external decoder/amplifier unit. Now that I am planing a system upgrade, I am thinking of buying Creative Audigy 2 sound card. But here comes a questiom: There are in the market 5.1 speaker systems - and many of them come from Creative - that do not include an external decoder/amplifier unit and some others that do come with one. With a sound card like Audigy 2, do I need one? Assuming that someone owns an Audigy 2, what's the diffeence between a set of speakers without an external decoder/apmlifier unit and a set that comes with one? Thanks in advance!!!
