I was just wondering because I have a new T43 IBM ThinkPad, can I have 5.1 speakers and still have them work? How would I go along configuring my laptop for them? If I cant get actual surround I am happy with just sound out of 5 speakers and a sub. Is that possible or do I HAVE to have the right sound card built in? An answer to any of these questions would be great!
