Comment:

what is the maximum processor speed supported by this motherboard, which i just won on ebay:
478-pin Lexington 3 Motherboard -pn 4000810
the current CPU is:
Intel 2.66GHz/533MHz FSB Pentium 4 Processor
how far can i upgrade this CPU?

also what type of RAM does it take? PC2100? 2700? 3200?

being on a budget as i am, could i turn this into a fair gamer system (although i know it won't be great, just fair), with a good video card and a good amount of RAM? can it be overclocked? opinions?

Argue for your limitations and sure enough, they're yours.

A socket 478 motherboard with a maximum FSB of 533 MHz will support up to a 3.06 MHz Pentium 4 processor, which is the fastest processor manufactured by Intel for 533 MHz FSB. Of course if you overclock the speed can be pushed.
