3rd modem in windows 2003 server

Specs: Windows XP
I'm trying to install a 3rd modem device in a win2003 server, the device is recognized by the OS but not by the fax service manager,
there are 1 conexant 56k internal modem (Com4), 1 Netodragon 56k internal Modem (Com3) (both working) and a US Robotics V92 internal modem (Com5) which is not recognized by the Fax service mgr. how this can be solved??

The fact that is using Com5 is probably the problem. If this is the case then there is little you can do about it except find some software than can use Com5.

the computer recognizes the Modem even when I press the query modem diagnostics I get all the related AT commands, regadles if is using Com1 or Com5.

Yes, the Operating system is recognising the modem, but the fax software isn't. That's the problem.

I think that I found the solution, seems to be that the issue has something to do with the winmodem software. and the virtual ports!
