I have a sidewinder 3d pro that is about 5 years old. I am trying to hook it up to my new computer. It just says not connected. Has anyone had this problem before? If so what should I do.

Hi David.

This is from the Microsoft site -

This updated SideWinder 3D Pro driver may solve the problem of the 3D Pro showing as 'not connected' on some newer computer systems.
