Specs: Windows 7, i7 quad core 8gb ram
okay so i have a y560p laptop with a 6570 graphics card capable of 3d (ive tested it on my friends tv) and i replaced the 15.6 inch 60hz screen with a 15.6 inch 120hz 3d screen . when i got the 3d screen it cam with its own connector cable , but when i replaced it i just used the one that came with the laptop the (2d screen). but now it wont pick up the screen as 120hz just 60 hz like my old screen. so of course the 3d wont work now should i go back and use the connector cable that came with the 3d screen ? is it different ? will it work after or am i doin somthing else wrong ? by the way the 3 screen came from a y560d 3d laptop . thanks for you help i tried googling it but it seems no1 has done this before or anything like it.

I don't think you can convert your Lenovo Y560P to a 3D Y560D just by fitting a 3D screen. There will probably be other internal components that need to be changed too.

It might be just a different cable though, so try the one that was supplied with the 3D screen. If still no 3D, there must be some other component that 3D relies on which your Y560P doesn't have.
