Hi and good day. I'm having a problems with my sound card. I'm thinking that its not
on the driver but on the seating or placement on the PCI slot, its a bit loosy. When
I try to insert a mic, it will cause movement to the card that will cause it to not function.
So please answer me with this: can I insert two (2) sound cards on two different PCI slots
on my PC so that in case one goes wrong, the other may funtion. I'm feeling upset whenever
I will start my computer and then hear no sound from my speakers, and will try to close
the comp. and open the case and reseat it, and try again if it fails. So please help me about this, will there be no problem if I put two sound cards installed on my system. Thank you very much

I don’t think you can run two sound cards so try this switch the sound card with the modem see if that helps

I think your problem is that you dont have your sound card screwed down. If it were, there would be no movement at all.

And I would never think putting two sound cards in would be a good idea. For one, there would be many IRQ and I/O addressing errors. Secondly, it just wouldnt be practicle. You get one that works and it works for the entire duration of computer usage if installed properly. If you have two in your system, pick a favorite.

You could also buy one of those usb audio things
off e-bay.
For around $30.00 usd you can get one that has
an analog line in/out aswell as an optical out.
