Hi, does anyone know if its possible to have 2 sound cards in my machine and have the sound coming out of both of them, this will enable me to have my external room and pc speakers all running together. Ie. I can use 2 3.5 jacks, going into seperate sound cards and into seperate sets of speakers.

Nonsense, of course it can. I had to run 2 cards before I could afford my 4 channel card.
Put one card in at a time and load the drivers.

Lmao. Yeah it can be done. 'Can't be done'. Lol. Anyhow...
OtsJuke DJ and PCDJ support multiple soundcards. They use one for the dj's headphones for cueing up the next track and the other to put sound out to the soundsystem for the public.
Just buy two cards and chuck em in.

Oh yeah. And one tip for the posters on here. If I don't absolutely know the answer to a question, I don't try to answer it. It simply irritates the poster, guesses are useless, educated guesses are useful, educated answers are perfect!

You can have multiple sound cards. But do you need special software to output simultaneously to them all? I may be wrong, but I don't think windows media player will without some kind of add on. Kurt and/or XxxFrancisxxxUSA can correct me if I'm wrong.
