I'm an Electronics Engineer expanding a Computer Server at home. I have reached a point where I am drawing too much current from my 750W PSU.
It is actually causing write failures on my drives.
Has anyone tried putting a second PSU in and connecting the splicing the green (pwr on) wire from both psu's together and also 2 blacks together for a common ground?
This should in theory allow both PSU's to switch on together when the on button is pressed.
I could share the load of my 10 Drives, extra fans and power hungry Motherboard.
Would the difference n voltages cause problems?
Has anyone tried this long term?
I don't wanna fry anything!
