2 month old asus pad me173x not working

Specs: Windows 7
we have sent off through the retailers Currys a 2 month old ASUS pad which is no longer working.
The report stats that it is not covered under manufactures warrenty, accidental damage, main board connector damaged.
There is no visible damage to the outer casing so how the internal components can be damaged is questionable as it has only had general use in the 2 month period.

Where can i complain as the ASUS repair line has told me to complain on the web site. but there is not a link

And if that avenue fails... possibly the local trading standard officers?

Another option perhaps is the credit card company - if you paid with a credit card; they may have included insurance on your purchase(s) as part of your card deal?

Apparently the unit was checked out & the damage was determined to be user related, not a manufacturing defect.

"There is no visible damage to the outer casing so how the internal components can be damaged is questionable"

It mentions a connector so it was likely damaged by improper or careless plugging or unplugging of a cable.
