Specs: Windows 7
hi! I am using an external monitor with my laptop. It is very useful as I like to watch a movie, or something else on the monitor an still have access to other stuff on the laptop. The problem is that any time a click on the laptop screen to do something the image on the second screen, which is in full screen mode, reduce to a small one, so I have to reset it to full screen again.

Is there an option somewhere to avoid that?

You can look in the BIOS (setup) screens to see if you can dedicate more memory to the Graphics chip. That is possible with many chips. The amount of memory that can be allocated to the graphics chip is tied to how much total memory is installed. There is always a maximum amount the chip can use but it may be using less than that.

I am guessing the issue has to do with graphics memory but I could be wrong.
