Specs: Windows Vista
i put a new mobo asrock g41m-gs try to start up and no beeps no vga fan works then put old mobo msi n1996 + in same cpu no beeps no vga but fan works can the cpu be dead

i have psu repalced same problem
mobo replaced same problem
vga onboard and vga card on both mobo's same problem
and all of this with the same cpu
could cpu cause that there are no beeps ?

This has been said 100's of times in these forums, but you should ALWAYS benchtest your hardware before installing it in the case. Now you have no idea if the hardware is bad or if you assembled it incorrectly.

When there are no post beeps, it *usually* means either the CPU is bad or the board is bad.
