My 2 day old MacBook was loading updates...But it froze, so I switched it off. When I switched it back on, it had loads of text in the background when it loads and then a message comes up saying it needs to be re-started...That's it. Nothing more! Help!?

It should still be under warranty if it came with one. I would take it back to where you bought it.

Yeah, of course it is still under warranty. It just seems like it's something I've caused and something I could fix? It's a hike to the store lol so I thought I'd see if I could fix it.

Problem is that it could be a hardware issue and not just a pooched upgrade...we don't know and you don't know. Too many places to look and too many possible fixes to take a chance with a brand new machine.
