19 volt 7.1 power adapter vs 19 volt 4.74 amp

Is there any harm in using a 19 volt 7.1 amp power aadpter on a laptop that requires a 19 volt 4.74 amp adapter?

I can't see where there would be a problem as long as the polarity is the same and it will physically fit. Some pins are different sizes. The 7.1 just provides more current whereas the voltage is the same.
