Hi, I know there was one earlier post in Mar. 2003 about putting a 16-Bit ISA Card in an 8-Bit slot. However, that was for a external SCSI Hard drive controller card. Can you stick any 16-Bit Video, Modem, or Internal HDD Controller card inside an 8-Bit slot? Will it only work in 8-Bit mode? Could it cause any damage? I have a 16 bit MFM HDD Controller that I want to put in an IBM XT.
