You will need an IDE controller that supports a 48bit LBA, what mobo have you got?

Make sure the 160gb drive is connected to the ATA133 controller (48-bit LBA support is included in the ATA133 spec) In addition to 48-bit LBA you need a operating system patch. It is included in Service Pack 1 for XP. If you do not already have SP1 installed then download and install it. Lastly, after you have verified the above, go into the disk management utility and hopefully your 160gig drive will be shown as 160gig.

Looks like your controllercard is only compatible up to 127 GB. The board itself should be able to work with bigger drives. If not check the Asus site for a bios update!
