Fry's are selling 200 gig Maxtor drives for $69.99, no rebates!
Print it out, and if you have a Fry's within a reasonable distance, Office Depot and CompUSA price match them!
Have a good one!

Maxtors go on sale quite a bit because they are not the best drives.
Rule #1 Good computers don't go down.
Rule #2 There is no such thing as a good computer.

CompUSA
Maxtor 200GB L01P200 $79.99
Seagate 300GB (ST3300831A-RK) $179.99 - $40.00 Rebate = $139.99Best Buy
Maxtor 200GB $129.99 - $40.00 Rebate = $89.99Circuit City
Western Digital 160GB $119.99 - $70.00 Rebate = $49.99
Seagate 300GB $189.99 - $90.00 Rebate = $99.99I have had several hard drives fail over the last ten years. I have had Maxtor, Western Digital, IBM, Quantum, and Seagate drives fail.
My latest to give problems is a Western Digital 60GB drive. It has not failed completely but half the time it will spin up slow enough that the computer will hang. I replaced it with a Maxtor drive.
