1 of 2 A-DATA SH93 USB HDDs undetected in W7

Specs: Windows 7
I have two identical ADATA Superior SH93 external USB disks. Both of them can be smoothly detected by three different computers (Windows XP) and work normally. The fourth computer (Windows 7) detects only one of these two disks, always the same. The second disk remains undetected even if the first disk is unplugged and the PC is restarted. I also tried do uninstall USB driver, to change the e: to m: for the first disk. If the unvisible ADATA disk is plugged in the USB socket after the visible one, at this very moment the visible ADATA disk disappears for approx. 5 sec. then is re-detected. Please have you any idea to solve this problem?

Addendum: It is due to Edimax 4Ports USB2.0 Hub. The first disk works correctly via this Hub, the second one does not. It is silent, ticks only.
When I plugged this second disk directly into the PC USB socket, the disk was detected and could be normally used. Neverheless, the attempt to operate this disk after its succesfull detection via the Hub failed again. This Hub has its own DC power source. Thus, the causation remains unclear to me.
