I keep getting the 0200 Error Fixed Disk 01 and i dont know why. It comes up with the F1 for the BIOS menu and i dont know what to do from there. I know it is recognizing my HD but it will not booot up. I tried to reset to defaults but that still doesnt work. Now i am stuck on a screen that says windows did not start sucessfully. So i picked start windows normally and it is just sitting there but no longer giving me a countdown. what do i do? Please help me

Did you read the entire linked thread? Is the hard drive the original unit?

Looks like your notebook originally came with a 40GB IDE hard drive.

What are you running in there now?

Is the hard drive properly configured by the BIOS by both model and FULL drive capacity?
