well, i dont know, but apparently you need a better video card.

Wins 98 SE, intel celeron 450MHZ, 128MB pc 100.
6GB HD. ATI rage 128.
24x cd-rom. 8x2x8 cd-rw.

I don't think it is really possible to get your computer up to speed with an xbox 360. I was reading an article in popular science and it uses 3 3ghz processors(the new playstation in comparison has basically 6 3ghz prossesors on one chip ), and really fast memory, but the graphics card i think was a standard off the shelf item.
Just for the graphics aspect you would need a new main board supporting the newest fastest memory speed, and the new pci 16x graphics cards with lots of memory.
(Processor could or couldn't run smooth, but it wouldn't hurt to have dual processors. When i run games, my cpu usage is only at 10%, because lots of it is handled by the graphics card.)

The Xbox 360 graphics card is proprietary, but based on the ATI R500 chip, used in the Radeon 1000 line (1000, 1200, 1800). The 360's gpu is clocked to 500 mhz apparently. I'd guess it's roughly equivalent to the x1800.

You're not gonna find a three-chip architecture for your PC. On the other hand, you can install more ram on your PC than the 360 has. Keep in mind that the 360 will always run at a lower resolution (720 lines) than you're ever likely to game at, which means theoretically smoother framerates, more polys, and more graphical tricks available. Games after launch will be specifically written for the 360 architecture (as opposed to a generalized PC architecture). And in terms of price, you can't even get an equivalent gfx card for the cost of the whole 360. Microsoft is taking a huge loss with each 360 sale.

Console gaming has it's drawbacks, but cheap and powerful processing is not one of them.

theirs no video card currently on the market for the PC that can give you XBox 360 graphics this is a fact trust me ive consolted many sources and companys. its running a highly modified radeon X1800 XT with dual layer architecher pipelines and some other other thing that all current video cards dont have. No worried computers always come out on top hmmm why because their always upgradeable and consoles arnt lol unless you love buying new consoles. :-)

P4 3.0ghz presscot
MSI 865PE Neo-3 mobo
2x 512mb G. Skill ram
6800 GeForce AGP

even if it were possible to upgrade your rig the the level of an xbox360, you wouldn't find any games for PC that would utilize your rig, since PC games are designed to work in a variety of different PC configs, you may have a superior system, but you wont find a game to use it's power until a better console than the xbox360 comes out anyways
