damn, i just watched the trailer. it seems splinter cell has become Eido's Hitman. you dont camp in the dark any more like in previous splinter cell games. man, staying in the dark(in other word, Stealth) is the reason why i love splinter cell series. now they changed to like Hitman(you pretend as an innocent resident).
also, what a system requirement
Core 2 Duo E6420 CPU, nVidia 8800 GTX GPU, 2GB RAM, 25GB Hard Drive Space, Sound Card. 25GB HD space!!! OMG! i think this game has the highest system requirement of all games ever exist so far.

25GB HDD space...!! I dont think what you posted here is the recommended system not requirements. Developers must think very clearly that very high system requirements also means less sales. Even 360/PS3 equivalent to 79xx/x19xx GPU. Anyway, there is still 50% stealth missions and the remaining 50% open area missions (ala Hitman). i'm a fan of the series and its a great change in the game to include this type of gameplay, (they already try this method in SCDA). I have strong faith in Ubisoft Montreal, if they give it to Ubisoft ShangHai then this game will surely die...

I think because they try to differentiate themselves from the other version. Some of them works great. SCPT works great because they still stick with the original formula, innovate but they do not run away so far from it. As for SCDA they try to innovate and tries to be different from the PS2/XBOX version. At the end of the day they fail.

They try to innovate but they do not focus much on the story and that resulted in very loose/hanging storyline which affected gameplay. They also focusing too much on graphic instead of gameplay which not an issue with Ubisoft Montreal. The moves in X360/PC i agree is great but that alone is not enough.

i just downloaded SC:DA demo. LOL, du know how long it load? after the intro, i checked the clock, the game started loading at 10:17, and finished loading at 10:28. my pc spec is p4 3ghz, 1gb ddr400, geforce 6800 128mb. LOL! 11 mins!! imagine you gotta wait for 11 mins for every mission. i dont know how long you need to wait for the loading if you die. lol! for those who plan to buy it, play the demmo 1st before you take action. its $36, not cheap.

dunpealx4,
I'd imagine that a game this demanding would load one hell of a lot quicker with 2GB of RAM and a faster processor (I've noticed that processor speed does influence loading time with *certain* games).
