First look at my specifications...

Do you think my system will run HL2, are there any settings that are not needed? With the upgrades, will my comp be able to play HL2 on max res and max settings?

AMD Athlon 64 +3500

ATI Radeon 200 IGP

If you move up to a gig of ram and get rid of that turdy fx5200 for a 6600gt yeah you'll be able to run the game with all max settings at a reasonable resolution.

You'll be able to run it at max res as long as you get the 66oo.
