Reply: (edit)It does really hard to connect between the Laptop and Desktop to talk to each other. Anyway, here's the catch. The wifi adapter sometimes cannot see the router when the lan adapter is on so try to disable the lan first, reboot and try connecting again to the router. Try to ping other computers from the laptop and also from the target computer and see. if the computer can ping the laptop but the laptop cannot ping the computer than try to switch off/on the router and try again. Anyway this solution may or may not work. This happens to me also MANY TIMES, really piss me off. Anyway...Why gaming with WIFI??? Not a good practice better with direct connection to the LAN. Anyway its your call. Cert Computing Level 3 Dip Electronic Eng Dip Computing and IT BSc Hons Software Eng
