Windows 7:Direct3d acceleration not available

April 16, 2011 at 23:41:52
Specs: Windows 7
Dear all;
I've just finished installing a game on my laptop computer. However, i couldn't play it. When i started the game, a warning board appeared with the content "Could not find any compatible Direct3D devices. Please make sure that the correct graphics driver is installed in your system, and direct3D hardware acceleration is enable"
When i looked into the Directx Diagnostic Tool, in System tab, it showed that i already have DirectX 11 in my system, but in Display tab, under DirectX Features, the DirectDraw, Direct3D and AGP Texture Acceleration are all "Not available". I've referred solution from Microsoft support website, and they told me to click the "Enable" button to enable Direct3D acceleration, but i couldn't even see where "Enable" button was.
My laptop is Compaq Presario CQ42 265TU, on-board VGA card, Windows 7 OS.
Please help me!
