I'm looking to buy a computer to play sims 2 I want something for around 800 or under is this possible? I would like for it to be upgradable incase I want to buy other games but right now sims is the only game we care to buy for a pc.

2g can upgrade to 4g
vista home
2.1 processor
NVIDIA GeForce 6150 SE with TurboCache
128MB (dedicated); up to 623MB (allocated by Windows Vista)

I don't want choppy game play.

If not this one can someone suggest what a good cheaper computer would be. Remember we are not looking to play a bunch of games on here just sims 2 at least for now.

Graphics are weak, other than that it's fine. It "should" run the game but I strongly suggest a graphics card upgrade.

I agree with Pariah. Don't be fooled by those Turbocache numbers. You'll need a video card upgrade for gaming. Plan on investing another $100-150 for something decent. Here's one possibility:
