That laptop is NOT a gamer. A lot of people misinterpret just how good a gaming PC you need for the Sims game. Because it's not Crysis they completely underestimate the system requirements. If you're set on a laptop you'll need far better specs as jam says, but if you're not set on a laptop, you can probably get a gaming desktop cheaper. The Sims 3 has pretty high system requirements, especially graphically if you want it to run smoothly, so don't go cheap on it or you'll pay with poor gameplay or no gameplay at all!
