Solved Will RAM increase the performance on my computer?

December 29, 2012 at 17:10:05
Specs: Windows 7

I have a laptop that can't play any games. I can't play black ops 2 at a playable frame rate, I have everything on it's lowest settings playing on a resolution of 800 by 600 with an fps of 16-25 average.

here are my specs:

windows 7 home premium 64 bit

AMD athlon(tm) II p340 duel core processor

4 GB of RAM

ATI mobility radeon HD 4250

I was wondering if I upgrade my RAM to 8GB, I will see a noticeable change. I don't have the money to buy a new laptop.

"ATI mobility radeon HD 4250"

Gaming relies heavily on graphics & the weak HD 4250 is what's holding you back. Unfortunately, there's nothing you can do about it. You either have to live with it, or buy a gaming laptop, or buy (or build) a gaming desktop computer. Generally speaking, a gaming desktop machine, if you build it yourself, should cost significantly less than a gaming laptop.

Here's some info about the HD 4250:
