i just recently rented an hp computer form a rental place. after having it for about a week i got unreal2 for it and to my dismay my integrated gefroce4mx integrated video can only play it at a measley 20 fps. so i was wondering if the radeon 9600 pro is really alot better than a gefroce4mx.and by the way i have a 200 watt power supply can i install this video card with this power supply. thank you very much for the help

yes the 9600pro can play unreal2, yes it is a LOT better than an integrated geforce4mx, and no your power supply will most likely struggle with the card. In fact , im surprised you are able to run the Athlon you have with 200W, you'll most likely run into problems with it eventually.

200W?? what in the world was HP thinking? I have a 9600pro and My 250watt struggled with it at first(frequent freezes, black screens)I purchased a 350W from www.newegg.com, which works great and keeps everything juiced up w/power!
Yes, the 9600pro will run unreal 2, doom 3, half-life 2 and most upcoming games, especially with the cpu you have. One thing I would consider if I were you, is another stick of 512 RAM (watch out if you are running windows ME though) newegg.com has great prices!
