i wonder if my computer will run half life 2 on wine with these requirements? 2.80ghz Celeron Processor, Intel Integrated Graphics Card, 512mb Ram,80gb bear in mind that my system is on linux and would need wine to run if there are any linix users here.

If it's able to run it at all, it will perform poorly due to the crappy Intel Extreme 2 graphics. If you wanna play games & play them well, install a *real* video card. Unfortunately, the Dimension 1100 only has standard PCI slots...no AGP.

Message: I think you may be wrong ! I have a celeron 2.1 Gig with intel integrated graphics (aspire 5315-2698, has intel x3100 integrated graphics) I installed HL2 and it runs very good ! The game sets optimum graphics that it detects machine can handle ! It still looks beautiful on my laptop !
(But my machine is running vista and he is using linux with emulation he might not be able to run it unless he gets more ram ! Emulation eats up a lot of resorses ! Anyway this version of intel's graphics card is not so bad !)
