My daughter has a Nancy Drew game that calls for specs of P3, 1 Ghz, 24x CD ROM. It says I will need a 32MB video card to operate.
Before I buy a video card, do I have a good enough processor to run this game?
If so which video card would you reccomend?

There's a reason that a 1GHz processor is recommended. The game will probably install and run on your 800MHz system, but don't expect mind-blowing performance from it.

If this is the only game you plan to play, you can get by with a $20 Geforce FX5200.

Just noticed that you've listed a laptop in the manufacturer/model field. You can't upgrade the video card in the vast majority of notebook PCs.
