I used to visit this forum 5 or six times a day during my working hours to catch up on all the gaming and hardware news and advice. What good advice it was too.

What I fail to see now though is that WHY are 95% of questions within the GAMING section questions for hardware. And why are 80% of those questions <a style='text-decoration: none; border-bottom: 3px double;' href="http://www.serverlogic3.com/lm/rtl3.asp?si=22&k=graphics%20card" onmouseover="window.status='graphics card'; return true;" onmouseout="window.status=''; return true;">graphics card questions. Why do people think that if they add the word GAME in there post then it becomes a question for the gaming section.

Surly there is reason enough to open a new heading for <a style='text-decoration: none; border-bottom: 3px double;' href="http://www.serverlogic3.com/lm/rtl3.asp?si=22&k=graphics%20cards" onmouseover="window.status='graphics cards'; return true;" onmouseout="window.status=''; return true;">graphics cards alone.

I was all exited to get into work this morning and discuss the new GTA SA game that came out for the PC on friday as I have bought it and have some views I would like to discuss on it but I'm sulking now so unless someone asks me nicely, I'm not going to tell you about it.

Please..Please all you people with hardware questions, list them in the hardware section including graphics cards as they are hardware too.

Ooooh I love a Monday morning mone.

I think the majority of ppl talk about Graphic Cards here because ppl that game are more likely to know a lot about them. As with other hardware thats required for gaming.

Why dont u start a thread on GTA SA? Ive played it a bit in the last couple of days and its tempting me to fail my uni exam =p

Then why don't we have a "Graphics cards for Gaming" section. I wouldn't mind so much if someone actualy created some posts about games in the Gaming section. But there all <a style='text-decoration: none; border-bottom: 3px double;' href="http://www.serverlogic3.com/lm/rtl3.asp?si=22&k=graphics%20cards" onmouseover="window.status='graphics cards'; return true;" onmouseout="window.status=''; return true;">graphics cards posts.

Anyway, to start the ball rolling, my next topic in the GAMING section of this forum is all about GTA SA.

Thanks guys

GaryM,

This is unrelated to your question, but I think something is wrong with your computer. It looks like some sort of spyware or something interfering with your posts. Look at all that code that's getting included with them.

I agree, nothing wrong with asking hardware related questions that specifically relate to games, especially when looking for a advice from fellow gamers.

What does irritate me is when there are clear similar questions asked about which gfx card would be best, and instead of searching, people ask the SAME QUESTION over and over again.

"I play World of Warcraft/Sims2. Which gfx card would work well for me?"

Those two questions have been asked probably 5 times each.

"President Bush is doing everything he can to lower gas prices, including...making the oil companies so rich that maybe they'll get sick of money."

i dont see what the big deal is. Its not like if you post bout gfx cards, you're stopping others from posting about actual games. If people want to post about games, then they would anyway.
