intro plays. then when it should go to game screen goes black and says input not supported
Civilization 1 is a very old game & probably has problems with modern hardware. Can you get into the game settings at all? Try running it in Win95 compatibility mode (right click on the game shortcut, select Properties, click the Compatibility tab) . And please post your complete system specs including the monitor info.
