Hello, so we all spent 50$ for the Sims 3....right ? So it should be 100% worth it...right ? Well then...why does it shut down or power save during the game like 5-10 min, either creating a character or doing an activity or building a home. It stinks and it makes you mad because you cant save it ! Wow...Definately not worth it...I love the Sims but not getting to create,play, and have fun ? and oh not being able to SAVE....come on ! If you cant do any of that....WHY ?!@@#$@!! buy the game....can someone give me some hope by telling me what to do ? How to fix it ? I have been soo excited to play and have fun on the game....but whats making it powersave ? Can someone seriously help ? Or tell me what i have to do to disable the power save ? What are your system requirements? This game, like all games in the Sims franchise requires more RAM than it states to run smoothly. One major problem causing crashes recently are the game updates. Have you installed the game updates? I think the latest one is 1.4 something. Once I take a look at your system set up I'll let you know more. As I've posted before on this game, it is riddled with issues. Check out www.thesims3.com for more information in the technical section on the variety of crashes being experienced by some users to see if it helps. As there are too many threads there, I won't post them here.

Why are you blaming the game? Have you checked the requirements: http://www.yougamers.com/gameometer... Post the following in as much detail as possible: CPU = ? RAM = ? video card = ? operating system = ? service pack = ? It's not a laptop, is it?
