How much is your budget? (if your looking to buy one)
The best graphics cards available atm are the Radeon X800 series and the Nvidia Geforce FX 6800 series.

Yep, though they will set you back a pretty penny.

If you're on a budget go for the Radeon 9800xt.

Some people are like Slinkies™, not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs...

It really depends on how much you're willing to spend....

*The best video card for gaming* is indeed the X800 XTPE. Or if you rather go nvidia then go for the 6800 Ultra.

Your probably taking a chance with an RMA on that one, maybe not.I would probably consider this one before a re-furb. though.

The ram on this card looks a little iffy though. There is one customer review there saying that he called newegg and confirmed that it is indeed a 9800pro

I just got this card a few day's ago and it's the best oc'er card i ever owned.so far i've got it up to 465/875 without a glitch. Also the colors look so much more vibrant with this Gainward card than with my eVGA 5900SE.

That refurbished 9800 Pro is more like a 9500 Pro taking steroids. Don't buy that, that 9800 Pro is 128 bit.

Don't get the Fx5900 series, they are awesome gfx cards but if you can get a 9800 Pro for around the same price then its a stupid move.

Wheres Zero Cool when you need em..

To unreal and quikstop I never said to buy the 5900.I said i got one uh 2 of them and i like them. But while were on the subject.I would'nt buy another ati card again,IMO there nothing but problems after problems with catalyst driver issues.
