imo, higher resolution. I'd much rather run my games at 1920x1200 with no AA/AF than run them at 1280x1024 with some AA/AF.

For me you should play at a minimum of 1024x768.... Which happens to be the max my crappy monitor supports : (
I would much rather 1024x768 with Full settings than a higher resolution with less eye candy. Its all personal opinion really.
