Hi Guys
i want to put a Graphics card into an old PC - to run older games such as GTA:SA, Ghost Recon, PES3 etc.
which budget card would you recommend for my system? its an old AMD Athlon 1.3GHz with 768MB RAM.
i have 2 PCI slots and an AGP Slot. Thanks for any info.
What is the make/model of your motherboard? What about your power supply - wattage & amperage on the +12v rail? How much are you willing to spend on a card? What card do you have now?

Thanks for your response Jam - my full spec is here:
i dont have a card at the moment. i'm looking to put in a card so i can run older games. maybe something between 20 and 40 pounds? i have seen a few in that price range, but i'm not sure what to buy.
There are a couple of things that stand out in those specs:
"2X or 4X slot with 3.3V"
"(1) AGP (3/4 length or less)"
I don't know why there's a limit on the card length...is this a SFF (small form factor) case? Apparently you're gonna have to find a 2x/4x AGP card that supports 3.3v signaling? I suggest you should do some digging to confirm that...maybe even call or e-mail HP/Compaq support.
