Specs: Windows 7, phenom II x 4 970BE/4 gb hyper x
which card is the best value? gtx 460,465, 470, or 560ti? i've seen prices for the 465 below that of the 460. a lot of people seem to be hating on this card, i dont know why. ive heard they run hot and loud as well as the 470. do you think the 560 is worth $250? i dont see a real significant difference between any of these cards. when i compare nvidia cards, i always go by the cuda cores, since the clock speeds can be adjusted with a tuner. my main thing is price and value. anything above a 460 would be allright since i will only be using 1 card. my 890fx board does support crossfire, but i dont know much about ati/amd numbering system. right now i have a zotac gts 450 installed. at stock settings im getting about 50-60 fps in bbc2, which is not too shabby. my processor is a 970 BE with 4gb kingston hyperx ddr3 set at 1600. the game seems a little smoother when i put my old gt220 in the second slot and set it as a physx card. the core clock on the gts 450 runs at 810 and i sometimes crank it up to 850. for a low power card its really not that bad, i just wish i bought something a little better to begin with. got 4 more gbs of this memory on the way.

Make sure you have a decent name brand power supply with plenty of amperage on the +12v rail.
